Day 1: Arrival Jhansi – Orchha (18 kms, 30mins)
After arrival in Jhansi, our representative will meet you and take you to the hotel in Orchha. After reaching, visit Raja Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Chhatris, Charbhuja Temple, Jahangir Mahal, Shri Ram Raja Temple. In the evening return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Orchha. Orchha – Orchha was founded in the 16th century by Bundela Rajput Chief, Rudra Pratap. Ram Raja Temple is the only place where Lord Rama is both a King and God. Exhibiting the wonderful Bundela-era legends, Orchha remains steadfast as the major historical site that has maintained the culture and legends of the rulers of the Bundela dynasty.
Day 2: Orchha Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Orchha Bird Sanctuary. This sanctuary is full of scenic beauty and picturesque landscapes. Spread over an area of 46 sq. km, the Bird Sanctuary has its significance due to its rich fauna, Betwa River and availability of some rare species of plants. Then we will go for river rafting in Betwa River.
Day 3: Orchha – Khajuraho (172 kms 4hrs)
After breakfast, we will go for a full day visit in Khajuraho. Evening return to hotel and overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Khajuraho – Khajuraho is an ancient city known for its magnificent temples (Mandir) and intricate sculptures. The Khajuraho city is located in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh and holds spellbinding historical tales and architectural grandeurs. As per the historical archives, the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples during the 12th century spread over 20 square kilometers. Among these, only 25 temples have survived the course of time, spread over six square kilometers.
Day 4: Khajuraho Sightseeing
After breakfast, we will go to Panna Tiger Reserve. On the way we will visit Raneh Fall, Pandav Fall. Reaching Panna we will go for a Jeep Safari in the forest. After that, visit the Jain Museum. If you are traveling in the month of February, you can also attend Khajuraho Dance Festival. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 5: Khajuraho – Jhansi (174 kms 3 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Jhansi Airport/ Railway station for your journey onwards.
