Day 1: Bhopal – Arrival
After arrival, our representative will meet you and take you to the hotel. After lunch, you can explore the Tribal Museum. In the evening, you can experience boating at the Upper Lake and then conclude your day with a soulful dinner. Overnight stay at Bhopal Hotel.
Day 2: Bhopal – Patalkot (239 kms, 6hrs)
After breakfast, pack your bags to meet the BHARIA Tribe of Patalkot. On your way, plan a small excursion to the pre-historic World Heritage Site, Bhimbetka. After lunch at Tamia, visit Karyam village and meet the BHARIA tribesmen, who are avid farmers and also possess great knowledge of medicinal herbs. Overnight stay at Patalkot.
Day 3: Patalkot – Mandla (206 kms, 5hrs)
After a serene drive, arrive at Mandla and explore the Raj Rajeshwari temple well-known for 300 years old idols of the Gond Tribe. Overnight stay in Mandla.
Day 4: Mandla – Chogaan (18 kms, 30mins)
In the morning, visit Ramnagar Fort/ Moti Mahal from Mandla and witness the exhibition showcasing 100 years old collectables of GOND and BAIGA Tribes. After lunch, visit Chogaan, a holy place for tribes to get curses or blessings from evil spirits by worshiping their tribal gods. Overnight stay in Chogaan.
Day 5: Mandla – Silpidi (147 kms, 4hrs)
Leave for Silpidi to meet the BAIGA Tribe, they are master blacksmiths and some of their women have traditional full-body tattoos. Later participate in a GOND painting workshop and a live tribal tattoo display.
Day 6: Silpidi – Jabalpur (210 kms, 5hrs)
Plan an early morning temple visit in Jabalpur and then head towards Marble Rocks-Bhedaghat. You can also catch your flights back home from Jabalpur airport. Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
Day 7: Jabalpur – Bhopal – Via Sanchi (327 kms, 6hrs & 30mins)
You can travel back to Bhopal via Sanchi and explore the Sanchi stupas, monasteries, temples and pillars dating from the 3rd century BC to the 12th Century AD, also declared as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After that we will drive to Bhopal. Overnight stay at Bhopal.
Day 8: Bhopal – Departure
After breakfast, you will transfer to the Airport/ Railway station.
